Auchroisk 9Y – 57.5%

After 9 years in cask, the last cask being an Oloroso Sherry Octave cask, Claxton’s have bottled this Auchroisk in their Warehouse (WH) #8 series, at full cask strength of 57.5%. Since it is a final aging in an Octave cask, this means that not many bottles come out of the cask – in this case, only 59 bottles came out of the cask. That’s why we only got 6 bottles home from Claxton’s, of this Auchroisk 9-year-old.

We will open a bottle in the shop so you can taste it if you visit us. And otherwise, it is possible to buy a 3cl sample here on the web-shop.
