After this Laphroaig has aged in cask for 16 years, Duncan Taylor has bottled the whisky at full cask strength of 52.9%, in they’re The Single Cask Collection series. The cask was filled in September 2005 and was bottled in February 2022 in 284 bottles – what a delicious Laphroaig, which has both an explosive smoke, honey sweetness, oak spice, and dark chocolate .
