Glenallachie 6Y PX Finish – 56.8%
In collaboration with Claxton’s, we have bottled this Glenallachie 6 years, for the whisky fair 2022 in Kolding. The bottling here from Glenallachie, is bottled as Claxton’s/Fadandel Exclusive bottling, which means that we have bought the entire cask and not just some of the bottles – therefore the Fadandel.dk logo is also on the bottle, and it can only be bought at Fadandel.dk.
The whisky, has been given a finish on a 1st Fill PX Sherry Octave cask (approx. 50 liters), before being bottled at full cask strength of 56.8%.
Only 69 bottles have been bottled, so it is both an exclusive and limited edition.
In The Whisky Bible, Jim has given this PX Finish Glenallachie 6 Year, which we bottled alongside Claxton’s, 86 points out of a possible 100 in the 2023 edition of his book.

| Nose | Boosted indeed, but rather balanced, with some fruity varnish, nail polish, new wooden furniture (from that Swedish shop) and bubblegum, as well as a little lighter pipe tobacco |
| Palate | Extremely fruity, with a lot of mandarin and strawberry flavour, chewy fruit candies, marshmallows, bubblegum. In the background, a little leather and tobacco are bringing some bitterness |
