Aberfeldy 8Y – 55.1%
The independent bottler Claxton has bottled this 8-year-old Aberfeldy whisky, at full cask strength of 55.1%. Before the whisky is bottled, it has been finished in a Refill Oloroso Sherry Octave (approx. 50L) cask. This finish has, among other things, has given it this nice dark color, as well as a sherry sweetness.
The Aberfeldy distillery is in the Scottish Highland region and is grouped in whiskey group B.
The whisky is not cold-filtered or colored – it is as it came out of the cask when bottling.
